Can't believe they rebooted this
This franchise was not one I thought they would redo.
shareYep....they're scraping the bottom of the barrel. Modern day Hollywood is pathetic.
shareNicolas Winding Refn is involved, Plus original director William Lustig is producing, So it might be good.
shareHuh? Really? I no longer keep up with the news since all media outlets (save for a few indie sites) are all Left-wing trash rags. Is there a trailer out for this? I actually really liked the first two Maniac Cop films, so a reboot somewhat does intrigue me, even though they really should leave well enough alone.
shareI don't think it's even started filming yet.
shareThe financiers requested an Israeli or Jewish director but accepted to keep Nicolas Winding Refn on as a producer so the project was taken overseas to a country called Denmark ( I’m I spelling this correctly?) however the shooting costs in LA made even the foreign financiers back out. Ie the project is in limbo awaiting monies 🤷♂️
shareI'll wager that they'll shoehorn in a little (woke) anti-police sentiment (to sate the BLM crowd?)
shareApparently is abandoned ! Shame.
