Hubby and I just started watching this wonderful show, loving it! But we must have missed some eps. I see Lawson is gone and replaced by a mean bully (munro) awful character :( Also, where is Danny???. I read the threads on the board but don't see anything explaining Danny's departure?
shareIn S2 Ep1, Lawson told Blake that Danny had been seconded to Melbourne and Charlie was his replacement.
In real life, the actor Rick Donald, had been cast in another show before S2 was given a go-ahead.
As for Lawson, in S2 Ep9, Lawson is called to Melbourne to face disciplinary charges or as he puts it, "shorthand for police politics" because they want him out of the way.
Munro is appointed in S3 Ep2 as Lawson's replacement. (S3 spoiler but the good news is that Lawson *does* come back.
