Did Bettys grandson set the fire to the house? When Coretta went to visit her in the hospital Betty said it was not his fault. I took it as she did not want to see her grandson go to jail. I guess I coulsd do some research but would like to read what others got from that scene.

Yes he did. In June of 1997 he set a fire in her apartment in NYC. He was sentenced to 18 months in juvenile detention for manslaughter and arson.

ok thanks. Then I just read that he was beaten to death in Mexico not to long ago.
