Angela Bassett-The second coming of Cicely Tyson

Although I think Angela Bassett is a brilliant actress, I think it's unfair how she monopolizes ALL of the black leading lady roles in Hollywood, much in the same way that Cicely Tyson did back in the 70s. It seems as if Angela gets all of the female roles over the last three decades, and ironically enough she even played Betty Shabazz in the movie "Malcolm X" nearly 20 years ago. I think there should be more variety, and producers should allow other black actresses to play female lead roles.
