The film within a film reminds me of "Hamlet"........

"The play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the King." (The "King" in question here is the mass murderer, Anwar Congo).

And it works so well under Joshua Oppenheimer's expert direction. "The Act of Killing" is, without question, the greatest documentary that I've ever seen.
