And its is our history.

Starvations of Enemy (Germany ww1/2), Terror Bombings (of WW2), Planed Starvation and Mass killing (Vietnam War) . - Those are things you don't read about in school and dont see in news headlines except as in justified acts of retribution.

The Boer Concentration Camps, The Armenian Genocide, Indonesian purge (sponsored by CIA and USA) - those things you simply don't see. There are nothing to see there - because "we" are victors. The West is just and for freedom (just like Pancasila)

It is same eternal story and we never learn the lesson. The only eternal truth is that if you lose any atrocity against you is justice. If you win no sin is too big to not be forgiven

Well you are right, but the amazing difference is that we try to sugarcoat our crimes mostly, but these guys were proud of it, they were making reenactments of it. Can you imagine Yankees doing civil war reenactments of the scorched earth policy and cheering proudly about it or a talk show on fox news where they glorify bombing Falludjah and killing as many people as possible?

Usually such crimes are avoided to be mentioned. One exception is germany, and only about WW2, most likely only because they were not the victors. And there it is the opposite of what we saw here, pure shame and guilt. Even the neo nazis mostly try to claim it did not happen.
