When they laughed about raping 14 year old girls I was revolted. This was a powerful documentary, and it explores probingly the causal factors behind inhumanity. How does one come to be a senseless killer? Well if Anwar Congo is anything to go by, you have to have the necessary desire for the 'finer things in life'. You must rationalize the killing and atrocities you commit by de-humanizing the people you kill. You bury your own conscience with a strong sense of denial coupled with escapist pleasures.

What an insightful film.

Isn't it strange that rape is the thing most revolting to you? The entire movie was about mass murders, torture and ethnic cleansing, and rape was the final straw for you.

Maybe it's the fact that, even if you truly believed that ethnic cleansing/genocide is someohow to the world's benefit, it's hard to argue rape helps you achieve your goals.

In other words, mass murder made "sense" from their hopelessly twisted worldview, but rape shouldn't have. That guy just liked rape, and the whole gang's amorality prevented them from even batting an eye.
