Get ready to see another Indian film in Top250

Nenokkadine apparently crossing the minimum number of votes to be in Top 250 (FYI there is no clear number to be in that list). Nenokkadine got 26,120 votes where as The Wage of fear(1953) got 27,087 votes and made it into the list so we can expect a place in Top 250 list if everything favors.
I wish I could slap the producers for not releasing the blu-ray yet. Many non-telugu movie buffs are interested in this film and if the DVD/blu-ray were released there would have been a storm coming [in Nolan style] in number of votes.
And they(IMDb) consider regular voters more for making this into that prestigious list and the only way to get votes from registered voters is by releasing the DVDs.

The bare minimum for any of the Top lists is 25,000 votes, but I've seen movies with over 40,000 votes that aren't in the top 1000 despite a 7.5 rating.

Well with a rating in 7's you could hardly expect'em to be in the list but with 9.0 it is something that is possible

Thank you for that list with 25k votes.
Seeing our Telugu film b/w The Dark Knight and Interstellar made my day.
And so it seems 1-Nenokkadine couldn't make it into Top 250 or Top 1000 as regular voters play key role.

hahaha...u moron IMDB will not calculate TOP250 list on the basis of votes.It do calculate the votes of active members who votes frequently..movie time lo account create chesi TOP250 ki podam anukunnava..? hahahaha

This is the problem with many of the Pawan Kalyan fans. They don't know anything but they assume themselves as geniuses.
Firstly your comment doesn't make any sense. You said "IMDB will not calculate TOP250 list on the basis of votes" and "It do calculate the votes of active members who votes frequently" LOL. Be precise to the point you want to make.
And my dear doofus i have mentioned clearly that regular voters do play a crucial role so shut the fudge up and get the fudge of here.

This the formula listed to be in Top 250
weighted rating (WR) = (v ÷ (v+m)) × R + (m ÷ (v+m)) × C
Where:

R = average for the movie (mean) = (Rating)
v = number of votes for the movie = (votes)
m = minimum votes required to be listed in the Top 250 (currently 25000)
C = the mean vote across the whole report (currently 7.0)
For the Top 250, only votes from regular voters are considered.

I calculated for 1 Nenokkadine movie. Weighted rating is only 7.96..It has to cross 8.0 to get Top 250th place. Votes should be 32000 and get a rating of about 8.9

Ok,this movie will be in top 250, then what? This movie will be kicked out of the list like Bollywood movies. And i think this movie doesn't deserve a spot on top 250 because of a simple reason- It sucks. This is a very bad movie, the story is average, direction is weak and the screenplay is very bad, I think sukumar tried to become Christopher Nolan. The movie certainly lies in the group of inception, memento, insomnia but those movies are miles ahead of this movie. This movie is overrated just like Bahubali.

OKh you can perfectly judge any movie and rate it.you know one things your comments sucks.Cant you get to the depth the director had taken the movie by giving logical and sentimental reasons or ignoring just because its a indian movie and not your nolans movie. or cant you see the way the movie was filmed by Ratnavelu. Do you often see indian films with such catchy and intense screenplay such twisting turns,terrific dialogues and conversations and such an Incredible Climax .Just read this you will understand what it takes to pull such an movie with so much perfection. Also many more things which depict that each and every scene was linked to story and was carved perfectly.

OK. first of all sorry for the late reply, Now about the movie, i was right about it, this movie is a crap. You know what, i am not a Nolan fan and there are Indian movie i rated more than 7 but this movie is so bad that i couldn't rate it more than 5 and i think i am generous. you said that this movie has catchy screenplay but i found it boring. The first half was kind of good with some nice songs and good action sequence but second is weak, i don't know why they had to bring posani krishnamurali in the movie his appearance as a south indian sardaar wasn't even funny. The editing was also sH%t, can you tell me why they had to place the song "sayonara" after the action sequence? I think only good thing about the movie is its good production value, this movie has huge budget, good starcast and also a good director and that's why i had huge expectations on this movie, but it was a let down. You know what i rated srimanthudu a 7 because i found that movie more entertaining that this. But still everybody everybody is entitled to their own choices and i respect that. If you think this movie should be in IMDB top 250 then you're wrong, Iknow top 250 is the list of most popular and well known movies but still this movie shouldn't be there.
