strange characters

I didn't understand the part about the ex-husband. Why did he stalk the house in the beginning, and who was he fighting with inside the house? Didn't he get a chance to explain to the police any suspicions he had concerning his family? And what was his purpose in going back to the house again later (only to be apparently driven away in a bloody car)? If the mother was so concerned about keeping her family together, why did she divorce her husband?

The neighbor father was also annoying in his stupid insistence on overlooking the strange behavior of the people next door.

In order for Titus to be prescribed all those anti-psychotic medications, he had to be seeing psychiatrists, who would have picked up on his weird and dangerous behavior. That he had killed 30 people without being suspected was unbelievable.

Apparently the older son was psychotic, and he must have killed the dad after he tried to warn the neighbors that they were unsafe. The mother was just trying to keep her family together, but her son kept doing these things, and she obviously had decided she was going to protect him no matter what, instead of tell the police like she should have done because he needed major help.

And you're right about the neighbor father. I swear, they always make the father really stupid, and they don't want to believe their wives about that stuff. Crazy!

Lol, that's a Lifetime movie for you, though. The woman is evil and psychotic (most of the time), and the fathers or boyfriends are just plain idiots.

It wasn't her husband. She lied about that to cover up for her son, who killed his only son. His wife's name is/was Pam.
