Liz was american, what's with the british twang?

Liz was born in England, and probably was raised among Brits in this country, so was exposed to British accents in childhood.
shareShe was born in the UK to American parents, and raised in England until she was 7 when the family moved back to America. If the British want to own her then I suppose they have a valid claim, but she was mostly American.
