This is a Lifetime movie?

I never heard of it, saw it on Netflix and decided to check it out. I thought it was decent. I figured it was low budget but it didn't end as I would've expected. It didn't beat you over the head with a moral as I might've expected a Lifetime movie to do and the mystery kept me guessing.

I never really noticed Lifetime hitting you over the head with morals. Usually it's about some psycho mom killing people or some whore teenager activity.

Same, saw it on Netflix and thought what the heck. I didn't mind that it was simple and low-budget; the acting was good and I expected completely the opposite ending from what it turned out to be. They didn't need to hit the audience over the head with a message in so many words - the devastation of all of these lives was palpable throughout, so, wisely, they let that speak for itself.

Really liked the two young leads, too. They worked well together. The characterizations were awfully simplistic, but the emotional complexity of their interactions rose above that limitation. A solid grade up from the usual light fare of this sort.

I was suprised so many people disliked the dead friend/ghost girl, because she was what made this movie tolerable for me. The lead girl bugged the hell out of me for most of this!

I'm watching it right now...and I agree with you. I think "Jennifer" is great. She makes a good pest. It's only 43 minutes into the movie, but so far, Grace is really subdued. I've never seen this movie before but I want to keep watching to see what happens. I tried not to read much here because I don't want anyone's comments to spoil it for me.
