I liked it a lot.

I gave it a "9". Would have been better if Hallmark didn't put logos all over the screen. Logos should be illegal.

Well, i guess you were not the only one who liked it since it has the higher IMDb ranking from all the 12 new original Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel.

More important, 'Help for the Holidays' is Hallmark Channel’s most watched original movie of the year, scoring a 3.0 Household rating and over 5.6 million unduplicated viewers.

'Help for the Holidays' is a great holiday movie, full of joy, happiness, Christmas spirit, magic...and romance. The entire movie is an avalanche of cute.

Summer Glau showed an awesome range of expressions again, from shocked to squeeee and all of them were great. She steals the entire film as the lovable elf Christine Prancer, in the funny and in the emotional scenes as well.

To be honest, i would probably not have watched the movie if not for Summer Glau, but i think it's a great way to convert people to cheesy Hallmark Channel Christmas movies :-)

It's funny and entertaining, i really recommand it if someone wants to have a good time with his friends and family.

Did you read the feedback from the writer of the movie, it's interesting reading : http://summerglauwiki.com/news/help_for_the_holidays_s_writer_tells_a_ little_bit_more_about_a_success_story/2012-12-19-405

Miss Glau was what sparked my interest at first. But then, I really did enjoy the movie. Hell, I even watched "The Cape" because she was in it.

You know what would be awesome guys? That 'Help for Holidays' repeat on Hallmark Channel on December 24 at 8pm was a huge success.

You loved the movie (and not only for Summer Glau) but i'm sure you'd love to watch it again; and more important it would be great if you recommand it to your friends and family who may not have seen it when it premiered on December 9.

Since i'm French, i don't know exactly if American families watch tv at 8pm on Dec. 24 but i'm convinced your wife, little brothers and sisters and your grandma would love the movie; this is a great opportunity to share with the person close to you your admiration for Summer Glau.

Wonderful movie! It filled me with such warmth. Summer Glau was the perfect choice as Christine. She gave the right amount kindness and innocence to her character without making her silly. Wonderful acting by all involved. Hallmark brought us another touching family Christmas movie yet again. 5 out of 5 stars. :-)

Chris.... I'm glad you liked it.

I don't know what the hell you just said Little Kid, but it touched my heart.

It's playing on Hallmark at six a.m., and I came by here just to see if I should record it or not (I do enjoy me some Summer Glau -- and Eva LaRue), so I believe I will.

You should see if you can get a project going for Daisy Gardner, who's also cute as the dickens, since "World's Dumbest" seems to be heading off into the sunset.

Uh . . . you don't need any horror novels to adapt to teevee, do you? (Sorry; I couldn't resist asking.) Steve V.

I watched it last nite...was very intrigued that Summer was the elf considering past roles she's done. I really enjoyed this holiday film and will watch a few more times before Christmas.

I'm watching it right now...weirdly. God bless Hallmark for Christmas in July movies! I had heard of Summer ( from Big Bang Theory guest role) and she was really good in this movie. She did the innocent fish out of water thing well. But I was even more intrigued by John Brotherton as the brother/uncle in the movie. Didn't know of him previously, but he is good and very charming.. Also LOVED Santa in this movie.
It's a feel good movie and has a bit of story....what we all want from a Christmas movie.

This is easily the worst thing that I've seen Summer Glau in. Her performance isn't terrible, but everything else about the movie was like nails on a chalkboard.

I thought the premise was interesting, and was excited to learn a little more of Christmas elven culture. Unfortunately the pacing was poor, and the acting (with the exception of the children, THE CHILDREN) was dead awful.

My expectations were far too high. I just can't get over an imdb rating of 7.2. My two cents: people are flocking here because they're obsessed with Summer Glau, and rate everything she's in highly.

Best TV Christmas movie goes to 'Holiday in Handcuffs'; innovative and amusing storytelling in a Christmas setting.

I like these elves and angels Christmas movies. Christine's blank book that gives answers and a wallet that always has the right money are novel additions.
