So I was wondering, were there any copyright issues with this series?
Disney`s Lion King got made in 1994, and this series, made in 1995, also borrows from both The Jungle Book and Jungle Emperor Leo. And a bit of Bambi.

Also, the main character is named Simba....like Disney`s character. Yes, 'Simba' means 'lion', but how strange a coincidence is that?

Some people see what is and ask Why, while others see what might be and ask Why not?

This was made by the guy who did the animated Titanic. I wouldn't think he cares about copyright in the slightest.
