everything happens too fast between krish and ananya

in a conservative country like india, how can a boy and a girl advance too fast that the girl becomes the first one to kiss the boy? i mean, in 2 states, things happen too fast between krish and ananya. they even start living together in the girls' dorm. in a country like india, is it even possible? i mean, there was no interference from the campus staffs? ananya was the first one to kiss krish. there should have been more development into their love story, with the boy and girl slowly inching towards the kissing and making love stage.

Although i agree with you that 'everything' happens to fast but this is because this movie didnt wanted to show the typical love n romance. It set out to show us what happens after a typical Bollywood movie ends with girl n boy falling in love. This was 2 state's usp.

Did you just emerge from a cave?
Yes, girls can be the first one to kiss a guy in India. It's not such a big deal.
No, Krish and Ananya don't start living together in girls' dorm.
Yes, in the real world, the campus staff would not even allow a guy to enter the girls' hostel.
No, there was no need to stretch out the love part. The movie is already flipping 2.5 hrs long.
