What is the name of the temple and where is its location?
Bhootnath temple, Karnataka.
shareThe DVD extras show them constructing a replica temple, and the DVD credits do not include Karnataka state. It was a magnificent set. An actual ancient temple would probably be damaged by all the extras and crew and filming equipment.
Note added, after reviewing the credits: Filming locations are Ahmedabad (IIM), Chennai, Delhi, Pondicherry, and Manori (a beach resort near Mumbai). Near the end, the protagonists watch the sun setting over the ocean from the open-to-the-sky part of the temple.
