SM looking for a DIRECTOR

While out promoting Austenland Stephenie Meyer said in an interview with Variety that Down a Dark Hall was the next film her Fickle Fish films was producing and that they were looking for a director?

I think it would have to be an indie director, used to working on a tight budget. Austenland's budget was 6.5 million. That's poverty level in Hollywood. Although SM is co-producing this film with Wyck Godfrey's company, so maybe the budget will be bigger.

The first name that popped into my head was Catherine Hardwicke. I think she's awesome and underestimated. But because she's so closely associated with Twilight, she might be a problem for some people. Another director I like is Jeff Nichols who directed Mud with Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughy. He's fairly new but really good.

Any other suggestions? Let's get this movie made!
