Blame Jerry O'Connell

He is a cancellation magnet. I like the show but it would be better without him, my wife also agrees.
I asked my friends about it and they also said that they don't like Jerry.

As we grow we learn, i have learned that if you don't like me grow up or ignore me.

I think this is the 3rd show he has been in that has been cancelled..hes just the kind of guy that makes you roll your eyes when he says or does something...even in stand by me he was annoying!im sure he tells himself "at least sliders lasted long"to make himself feel better

and he'll be back again within 3 years to try another one. he just doesn't get it

Sure he does. If anyone's thick-headed, it's the networks for continuing to green light poorly-conceived projects with actors that have a losing track record; as long as they keep giving him the chance, he'll take it.

Jerry though? I'm no particular fan, but you can't fault the fella for trying to make a living. It's unfortunate, but people often try to sustain a career in a field to which they are ill-suited.

He was on 'Sliders' for several seasons, and it was cancelled AFTER he left, 'just to keep track.'
