it should be available for everyone and shown on tv MANDATORY

I thought visually The Curse of the Golden Flower was the most amazing. I was wrong, this one is better. This one goes a step beyond. If this were not enough I have to say I enjoyed the music throughout the whole film, the special FXs (except the CGI bear) and four gorgeous women. The scenario made of skulls and bones reminded me a real cathedral made with such. It is SURREAL and it's a shame the movie in 3 D never came to the country where I currently live. People should've had the chance to watch this in proper huge screen at the movie theatres rather than.... let's say Transformers.

There's a thin gap between skepticism and cynicism

It should be mandatory for you to be shot. Mercy killing.

Transformers, which was mediocre, was still 50x the film that this heap of crap was. Even Transformers 2 was much better. FACT!

It was visually stunning and I agree, it's a huge shame we won't get to see the 3D version. I love asian cinema and had no problem following the tragic story...I think it would make an awesome video game as well.

..as for the one hater who keeps popping up with his ugliness (who, btw, spends Way too much time posting vehemently on a movie he didn't care for, needs to really get a life), don't listen to his "input", it's worthless. Watch it for yourselves & decide.

If you liked this, you might like Goemon, which is also a beautifully shot, epic japanese film.

Your not missing out on much with the 3d (and I am a huge fan of 3d) as it isn't all that well done and there are huge conversion errors (halos around characters faces etc) where it seems the conversion was not completed.

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time...
