Was anyone else rooting for the Tian Lang?

I believe it translates as "Sky Wolves", if the Chinese that I learned growing up is correct. All the so called female protagonists in this film were horrendous people. I had sympathy for the princess until she took that homeless woman's heart. Then again, she is just so spoiled that she's willing to send to countries to war, so I guess it's not surprising that a homeless woman is just a piece of meat, there for the taking. I don't know what she sees in that guy, he is a good warrior, but he's got no personality. The Tian Lang were totally justified! The demoness took their prince's heart. If she had been sacrificed it would have been exactly what she deserved. I was hoping the Tian Lang would prevail, but alas, of course it was not to be.
