what about allan?

So, Mike got his girl friend back plus the painting they loved (and he had money anyway).
Robert got the paintings - or at least some of them and a life style he enjoyed, thanks to the drawings he had stolen before and probably sold.
Charlie payed his debts, which was all he wanted and needed.
But what about that poor soul Allan? No painting, no cash, still jobless and not knowing how to pay his kids school fees.
Did I miss something??

I've just seen this, sabmid, and I wondered about Allan too.

Unfortunately, I think he was mostly comis relief and never really mattered in the story.

I enjoyed the twist of the Prof playing them all for his own game, but other than that I didn't like any of the resolution. For Laura to just say, "Oh well, I don't want Bruce, I only think about you" was an unsatisfying volta face; why wasn't anyone arrsted, or the robbery ever resolved (as Allan's CSI-watching predicted they would have left clues), and how did the painting end up for open sale in a gallery without anyone checking its trail of ownership?

Gakk, not everything has to make sense (there was no explanation of how the Prof managed to get away with so many other works, for instance), but I really dislike an ending that says oh well, they're in lurrrv, so nothing else matters.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

Allan is probably still driving the Mini-cab!
