I'm not really sure why people are moaning about this film. Any village idiot should be able to read between the lines.
It's a film about people. About pain. About loneliness. About loss. It is not a sci fi film, it has a sci fi backdrop, it's not difficult.
It's not a comedy; saw it as a drama set in a retro-future.

shareI haven't seen this movie. If you didn't say it, nobody would assume it as NOT a comedy. I mean, just look at those faces. Look at them! Big eyes, empty stares, all looking at different directions. Got me every time!
And then there's Liv Tyler, whose famous for another space flick. I would seriously expect some cringy Armageddon "hand on tv screen" re-enactment scene in there. It would be hillarious!
