Very interesting movie. Anyone else get just a bit of a Star Wars vibe from a few elements? In particular the scene wipe style, the musical score (particularly one recurring theme), and even the last chase (pod race).

Close to the end when the flies are chasing the lady bug after he recuses the lady ladybug, it reminded me of the pod racer sequence from episode one.

Definitely, the lizard at the beginning sounded like the sand people and then the ladybug sounded just like Obiwan when he scared them away
shareYes. Huge similarities. No bad thing. The screen wipe and the fly chase (speeder bikes in Return of the Jedi) especially. Overall there is a whole rebellion / empire theme running through it.
It's a pretty fantastic animated movie.
