I like that German was hired by the team and will be working with Pete which in turn will allow Pete to see that German was/is worthy of Asha and will slowly become his own man on his own terms. I know many are caught up in the relationship Asha has going with Derek but to me that is just Asha in lust not love. She is still in love with German but because he didn’t “fit” with her new lifestyle and her perception of what it means to be a Devil Girl he was let go in favor of Derek who is the embodiment of what it means to be a Devil and a star baller in general. I actually think Derek will truly fall in love with Asha but he can’t maintain a real relationship and still be in the lifestyle and no doubt some scheming someone will be right there to shine light on this fact. Asha hopes for some Kumbaya…but that ain’t happening. LOL German is biding his time, getting in good with the daddy since mama already loves him, and will start to show Asha what kind of man he really is and as his success on the other side of the court shines through and likely will catch the eye of a lady or two Asha is going to find herself rethinking that break up.

share@Lisaluv1...thank you. I think part of Asha's appeal for Derek is that she is a good girl and was a challenge to get so of course it's all hot and heavy right now. But as the relationship continues and Asha comes out of her shell to be a true rival against Jelena and attempting to take her place on the team as a 2nd generation Devil Girl I can see her growing bored with Derek as he tries to hem her up because he has genuinely fallen in love whereas the lust for him on her part starts to cool. This is when I see German coming back onto her romantic radar and, of course, he will likely already be involved with someone new but who Asha knows. I can see Derek realizing he's losing her and that she's sniffing around German again and this will cause him to start acting out in playa mode to get her attention but will only serve to push her to pursue German more. The karma for the way Derek came between German and Asha has to be repaid so I do really see some of this scenario happening. The only difference is that I can see Asha about to slip over to the darkside with her acquired "Jelena-like" ways and either circumstance/German or both pull her back to the light just in time and she becomes the mostly sweet Asha once again.
