Team Derek. Seems like a better match. German seems mentally unstable.

Team Derrick, coming to get what's his. Even approached German directly that he's coming after her.

Neither one are prizes, but Derek is perfect for Ahsha. Which is what the writers intended from the first episode... duh.

Derek is what he says he is. He has owns being an ass and an effboy. He wants to shower Ahsha with his brand of love, affection and the finer things in life. She is ambitious and he helps elevate her status. He will never try to dull her shine, but will help her reach the heights she wants to. He "coaches" her in that aspect and wants to see her become a success. On the monstrous flipside, he wants a ride or die who is willing to take coke charges if necessary for him to save his career. Ahsha would do it again and again, wouldn't she? That's their trade. I'm sure he will continue to mess up and she will continue to forgive him.

German can't handle who Ahsha has grown to be and his only appeal to her was that he was a safe and stable choice. She was with him out of loyalty during the first season and by the third ready to cheat on him at the drop of a hat... so that's been lost for good. German is no longer safe and Ahsha no longer feels that same sense of loyalty. He's not mentally stable and being with her will never put him in a healthy frame of mind. The more she shines, the more insecure, petty and jealous he becomes. He can't handle her fame or the attention she gets from others (especially men). They're not good for each other and he doesn't fit her character anymore.
