Hit the Floor vs. Single Ladies

Hit the Floor sucks. The plot lines are way too predictable. The acting is heinous. The main chick needs to go. I don't know how she got cast for the show.

Single Ladies was way better. The cast was more likable. The acting was better than Hit the Floor. The plot lines also lacked and were predictable, but they sort of flowed. Why cancel Single Ladies and not this?

What do you guys think?

reply

Well now they have ruined Single Ladies. I tried to watch the last seasons but it was bad

reply

Completely ruined it! I tried watching it too and they got rid of all the main chicks. I was sitting there like "what the hell did I just miss?" You're right. Totally ruined.

The lady that replaced Stacey Dash quit the show to focus on being a mom. Im like really heifer. Im sure it was a fight to get the show back on the air then you decide to quit

reply

I actually disagree, Single Ladies started off great then sharply declined. Hit the Floor has more staying power and is more enjoyable to me overall. The acting is equally bad in both shows, but I do enjoy the plot twists and suspense in Hit the Floor a bit better.

reply

Me too. It is a oh crap what is gonna happen next type show

reply

They're both the same. Train wrecks u can't look away. Predictable. Bad actors who u love to look at with soap opera over the top drama every week.

It weakens us to not give our enemies the respect they deserve...

Who watches either show for the acting? This ain't Titanic. It's a soap opera. It's cheesy and fun.

reply

Ironically enough, when I first started watching "Hit the Floor" in its first season, I thought to myself, "This show is fun, but it's not as good as "Single Ladies. It'll do until "Single Ladies" comes back for its third season."

Then "Single Ladies" came back for its third season...and it was awful. I stopped watching after about three episodes. When "Hit the Floor" came back for its second season some time later, it was even more entertaining and was basically was "Single Ladies" used to be before they dropped the ball. Now the third season is on, and the show's even more entertaining, so I have to vote for "Hit the Floor" in this case. They've done a great job with keeping the story line interesting.

I do. I'm a film-maker. So I watch everything in a film-maker perspective.
