badly made film - and apparently it's a propaganda at that

Not a particularly well made film - the setting keeps shifting from one place to another - from one time to another. The narrative is all over the place.

Basically that's my review above, it's unbiased, but what will follow is a lot more biased - because after a while, I simply skipped to the end of the film realizing that I'm watching a poorly narrated and edited movie. The thing is though, it's only when I saw the ending that I realized that I'm watching a propaganda film. She was in Homs, Syria - during the time when the government was trying to recover the city from the 'moderate rebels'. She ventures to places where the last of the civilians are held and reports that the city is full of civilians and there are no military targets here - and that the government is lying. Bullshit. There were many civilians trapped in the city - yes. The government may have even carpet bombed the 'rebel'-held parts of the city, yes. But to say that there is no military presence there - now that is an utter lie, especially given that there were several 'moderate rebel soldiers' posted with civilians. She then goes on to say how this was the worst war she has ever seen, because it was a peaceful uprising crushed by violence at the hands of Assad.

So yeah - another US shill reporter - and not long after that report she got taken out by a bomb. Should you feel sorry? I hope not. She and other shill US reporters were the ones who perpetuated this war. The fewer there are liars screaming into your TV screens, the better the odds that there will be peace.

But we got to see Rosamund Pike's boobs. So I rate it 5/7.

"... after a while, I simply skipped to the end of the film..."

Once I read this, I simply skipped to the end of your review. Something about "there will be peace." Sweet. Thanks for posting.

I look forward to reading you review - perhaps you'll see things differently?

Good review. I felt the same. It turned into a propaganda movie. What a shame!
