Hated it the first time / loved it the second time

Spent my first viewing of the film being bored/weirded out and in the end, really disappointed. But I revisited it a month later and was fully able to absorb & appreciate it, now I had a better understanding & knew what to expect. It's fine little film but I completely understand why its as unpopular as it is.

Fingers crossed for eventual midnight movie status

No way someone watched this twice

You actually watched it a SECOND time? ONCE was MORE than enough for me.

I'm sorry, but i couldn't even get through the film once. i turned it off at the 45 minute mark. i thought it was awful, ugly, pretentious, like it was trying to be something but failed miserably. There was also something unappealing about it too. No matter how much a film like this is supposed to unnerve it's audience, it is still supposed to be enjoyable on some level. I just felt miserable watching it. And this is coming from a fan of bizarre and experimental cinema. For instance I love "Beyond the Black Rainbow." I think this movie was trying to be on that level, but failed. I like Gosling, but he should probably stay in FRONT of the camera..
