Dead In 5 Heartbeats Reviews

I went Saturday, to see the movie Dead In 5 Heartbeats, with a group from our Motorcycle Club. It was the 2nd time watching DI5H, the movie. The first time I was so involved with seeing how the book was depicted and represented throughout the movie, I missed seeing some of my friends, brothers and sisters I knew in the movie. I felt the movie did a great job of portraying the book as it was written, with some creative additions, or deletions, that impacted the movie in a positive way. It is entertaining, kept me interested, drew me into the story all the way to the end, and I had many opportunities to learn some REAL life lessons that could benefit me in the future. The second time, Saturday, I saw DI5H, I enjoyed it even more. I was able to watch the movie and
listen more for lines and scenes I missed the first time. DI5H has a rawness and intensity to it that creates a more believable and current look at how the Motorcycle Club Community really is today in the 21st Century. It has evolved, but it hasn't lost ANY of the core beliefs or foundation upon which it was created for:FREEDOM, RESPECT, HONOR, and LOYALTY. I can't wait to be able to buy the DVD when it comes out. If you have an opportunity to see Dead In 5 Heartbeats I recommend you do it. I believe you will love it the way I do, as long as you aren't bringing your skepticism, sarcasm, 50s/60s mentality, and negativity regarding the Motorcycle Club Community. An opened mind, enjoyment of some good entertainment along with a great sense of humor will bring about a positive and fun experience with lots of laughs.

This is one of those movies I'll watch several times and I've only watched one movie more than twice in my 54 years! I loved seeing the familiar faces having lived in Cave Creek and Desert Hills for 24 years! Sonny is such a humble, gracious man and it's great to see this all come true for him. He got tired of waiting, so took the bull by the horns and got it accomplished! It was worth the wait...if anybody else would have done it, the movie wouldn't have even come close to how great it is!

Looks like the Blue Oyster Club saved up and bought a video camera for some home movie making.... still, guess it's better than selling crack and killing hippies. Whatever keeps them off the streets.

Just finished watching this movie, and i gotta say it was a pretty good adaptation of the book, though i like the ending of the book better still. I love how sonny had hells angels 69 footage in the background of that club in the movie as well as his cameo in the bar. Overall great characters and awesome plot lots of violence just missing some tits and ass. Great flick.
