Why is the show deviating so much from the books? I was looking forward to seeing meeting of the supernatural council. And the compound where supernaturals are being taken to is supposed to be a high tech military facility. It looks more like an abandoned warehouse. Who the hell is Aleister supposed to be? And where's Savannah's mother Eve?
shareAlister is probably that teleporting half demon from the books. The reason it's changing so much I think. is because the focus is more on the pack. In the later books they made other characters the lead. Which I'm fine with. I already liking Paige better than Elena.

I dont mind some changes. But taking sorcerers out all together seems a bit much. Need them in it for lucas and paige to get together. I normally find it quite easy to deal with changes from book to tv show or movie. I mean they can't put everything in right. But creating a male witch, and something about a commandment? What's that about.

The book this season is based on is simply awful - it completely turned me off the author. nit reads like it was written for young teens. I wish they were deviating more because while the Paige character in the series isn't as nearly as inane as in the book she's still really not adding anything positive to the show.
sharePaige and Lucas completely turned me off the series. Didn't care for them, Paige least of all. To me, Bitten was a pretty solid urban fantasy, Stolen a bit more outlandish but still readable; Dime Store Magic was so-so, Industrial Magic pretty much awful. I own a few books in the series that I haven't read because of those two.

Eve is dead. Which is why Savannah is with Paige and Ruth. Although, Paige took on Savannah after she was at the compound in the book which is where Eve dies in the book. Eve isn't introduced as a character that is alive in the books

There are made up story lines for character's, which last two seasons in the T,V. Series, who are dead in the first couple of chapters in "Bitten" The 1st Book of Women of the Otherworld.
A very disappointing adaptation of wonderful books.
