SCENE MISSING FROM DVD

There is a big scene missing on the DVD (same for all the iTunes and digital releases).

I saw this in theaters, and the scene that is nowhere to be found is the dinner table scene where Kate freaks out. They cut out five minutes of the movie. This is a major reason why the movie feels unfinished. Can't believe they did this. I am one of the few who really enjoyed this movie.

Wow really? I loved this film too! I just bought a prop from it, the kitchen timer used in the film. Yeah it does feel like there are parts missing.

Haha when I watched it I wondered what happened there. It's really obvious an entire scene is missing.

If that is the case, it's probably for the better—that was one of the worst, most out-of-place scenes in the movie. Even the theatrical cut I saw in theaters felt sloppily edited and unfinished. They destroyed this film.

Yeah, I just saw this and wondered what happened. I saw her getting ready and then she drove away, then the other people were leaving, and then she was on the ground by the grave. It was weird. I didn't understand why she left. And then I didn't get what happened to the handyman kid. We saw the ghost hit him after she left, then she came back and found him hung, then the body's gone later.

While were on the subject of questions:

I ended this movie wondering if it was in her mind, or not. Did the cat really get killed? The boy got over not seeing him really quick. Did she dig up the grave? Was the skull real? Did she remove the paintings and burn them? Why didn't she show any of this to her husband? I don't know how he missed her ripping out the paintings and burning them. You'd think he'd comment on the fact it's back up.

I finished it going...what really happened? Cause as it is, her husband thinks she tried to kill their son. In that situation, I'd want the son as far away as possible from her. But as she's leaving, she sees the man in the window and we saw the little girl running away. I was just completely confused. And I usually get movies, even when they're bad.

Plus, I didn't understand her talking to the handyman kid and sharing a smoke. He was so much younger than her and his cockiness was really annoying, but she like immediately developed this bond and they talk and smoke while her kid's doing God knows what.
