Á really disappointing movie

I had high expectations for this movie. The premise was good, but to be honest, I never felt that the movie drew me in. EVER. To me that's the mark of a good movie. Even if the movie starts weak, but if there is something in the character development or in the story, or in the mystery, that draws you in and wants to see it through to the end, it could be a good movie. With this movie, that moment never came. This movie left me with the feeling of "meh". The basic elements of the movie I felt I had seen 100 times before. There was nothing in it at all that drew me in to identify with the special sense of suspense or expectation. All in all, a very forgettable film.

My reaction as well. The story seemed pretty rushed and Justin Timberlake was pretty miscast in the lead role, I didn't buy him as his character at all. Anthony Mackie was also severely underused, he should have had a bigger role. I liked Ben Affleck...But it felt like he was just "there" at times and waiting for his paycheck, which must have been huge.

I thought the first half was pretty good, though it was clear we were watching a frequently used plot - line. The way it was all wrapped up however was just so simplistic - get your way by bribing everyone around you left, right and centre. Yeah, deep, really deep!🐭
