shareHollywood has always inserted a woman in between the typically two main male characters to deflect any latent gay business. What that means is a couple of six-packed beefcakes can spend all their time together hugging etc, going 'Love you, man' and 'Love you too, bro' but the audience will not suspect that the two males are in anyway sexually invested in each other because of the insertion of the female character, even if it is only for a minute in the entire film.

I don't quite get what the issue is. There are no men in all-girl XXX porn films. There are way too many children in children's movies. All characters in animated movies are usually animated. Why does this matter if you like the type of film?
