Hate the show now

When will this deplorable storyline get done? My good guys are supposed to be good. I don't get how they all go evil just because they are in the matrix or some other alternate reality B.S. And how can Daisy and Jemma know what is real and what's not and no one else can? Since Daisy knows it's a virtual game and not reality, how can they hurt her?

This is just dumb.

Because they went in themselves and the others were put in by Aida? Seemed pretty clear.

reply

Like Uriel already said, Daisy and Jemma know because they went in themselfes.

About some of the others being bad - we don't know what kind of back-story they have/Aida programmed for them. They think that the Framework is real. Who knows, maybe they started with good intentions, crossed some morality line, made excuses or justified them and that made it easier to cross new lines, until they became the people we see at this time and point in the Framework. (Or as the Dr. called it 'Hive').

I actually like this storyline- the range of the actors and everything. They are probably glad of a bit of a change as well ;)

Also, Daisy and Jemma where warned that if they'd die in the Framework - they'd die in real life. Maybe because it all looks and feels so real, even knowing that it's not, the brain excepts it as real and would react acordingly.

But who knows, maybe we'll find out that dying actually makes you wake up in the real world, as long as you have a body to wake up in...

reply

I'm wondering about that too. Since, this is a program and when we saw Mai dying in a framework, she just reappeared again. I'm thinking this was a lie to keep everyone from trying to die.

reply

But then again, May's Framework was in the beginning stages, and they talked about her not excepting the kind of reality they created for her.
There are points to be made for both scenarios.

However, death would make a good exit fail safe.

Do we know of any smaller role characters that Aida killed off in the Framework that also have Bodies on the outside? That would contradict that theory.

If death is death - why doesn't she just kill Daisy? Exit?
But if that would be true - why would she tell her Goons to kill Jemma, Ward and Coulson?
Jemma, she might think doesn't know where the others (in the RW) are, Ward is just a program, but Coulson would wake up where the others are, not sure that she would want that...

reply

Did May die in the Framework? We see Aida beating her up a few times but I don't recall any deaths.

reply

No, May didn't die.

reply

I didn't warm up to it till the latest episode. Now that there's consequences and things that happen actually matter. Especially if the characters retain their memories after escaping.

reply

well they can't please everybody, I personally love this story line :)

reply

I think the whole Framework/Hydra storyline is the best thing they have ever done. I'm loving the show so much this year.

reply

You haven't been following the story line.. Think of it as your consciousness uploaded into a folder in a computer, delete the folder and you're gone😊

reply

It's not dumb if you pay attention and follow the story. I like it actually. Kind of a mash up between The Matrix and In a Mirror, Darkly (the only good episodes from that awful series).
