I loved this movie. I found it touching and funny. Except that I have no clue what Oliver sees in Bibiana. Sure he could use some depth, but she is a pretentious snob who doesn't respect his job/passion. He could do so much better!
shareWell said. Bibiana could relate better with animals than with people. Their first big problem as a couple was when she thought it was appropriate to say she wanted to make a baby. Even in a moment of passion she should know not to blurt out something like that to someone before they've had a chance to officially commit themselves to one another. Plus, she blurted it out to him in his parent's home, therefore blatantly ignoring how uncomfortable that environment was for him to start with. I didn't blame Oliver for physically, mentally and emotionally running away from her. After that he wanted to love her and was trying to ignore the fact that her people skills sucked.
Hopefully by the end of the film Bibiana has learned to be more respectful of humans, especially ones she supposedly wants to be close to.
