okay 3 episodes into s03 and no sign of Claude, yet there's a writing credit for Craig Rowin at the end of e03... is Claude no longer in the show or what's the deal here?

I don't know what's going on but I have noticed Claude hasn't shown up yet and the character Lucas (Dana Snyder) has died and is taking his place.

I really miss Claude on the show! I wonder why he isn't in it this season? 
