It's stupid and unrealistic. Can't they tell the stories of these cases without these kinds of embellishments?
I agree wholeheartedly. I actually came to this board to see if anyone else thought the creepy crawlers were stupid, distracting and totally unnecessary.

Enough with spiders, roaches, worms, snakes and other bugs as well as dead animals. The show is good, it doesn't need the shock value of the critters.
