What exactly was the reason behind shyam's wife leaving him for a while? There is no solid explanation given for this in the movie.. did she find out? If yes, how?
shareIt is implied that she found out through Sandhya. That is the reason why Shyam takes his bicycle and rushes to Sandhya's house soon after his wife leaves him. If you hear closely what they speak about when they later meet at the open ground, Shyam accuses Sandhya of telling about their illicit relationship to his wife to which she does not reply (and thus acknowledges).
But, I agree, this should have been more inclusive.
