Anders is a douche.

Nah, he was fine. If you put aside the 'Anders' thing, he was perfectly fine for this movie, and he pulled off the young/immature husband whom means well but is lead astray thing well.

His role was meant to be a spineless douche bag, so he did a good job.

I thought he played his role well. You're supposed to think he's a douche...

He was perfect because he wasn't a real man.

I don't have anything against Anders, but I had a hard time buying him as the nice misguided househusband.
