For the more active viewer

I know Two Years at Sea is not everyone's taste but it stays true to a documentary format. Simply observing a subject (Jack Williams) in their surroundings. Some have complained that nothing really happens yet I feel audiences need to be active. To be active in observing Jack's life is to contemplate his experiences and feelings.
