I hope this scene is in the movie.

Bob Patriotington: You can't stop this town from celebrating Christmas!
Warren Hussein Ohammer: I'm not trying to stop you from celebrating Christmas.
Bob: Then why can't I stand on top of city hall and scream about how our freedoms are being taken away?
Warren: What does that have to do with celebrating Christmas?
Bob: It's my freedom of expression!
Warren: Okay and you're allowed to express yourself, but as public figures we can't make laws or policies endorsing religion.
Bob: You're taking away my freedom!
Warren: How? You can put a Christmas tree up, you can go to church, you can celebrate with your friends and family. You just can't put a cross on top of city hall.
Bob: Why not?
Warren: Because it sends a message to the non-Christians in your community that they are second class citizens.
Bob: That's not true they're welcome to come celebrate Christmas with us!
Warren: That's not... Do you understand what non-Christian means?
Bob: Yeah, it means they're Atheist Muslims who hate America!
Warren: No it means they have their own personal beliefs and they don't want you imposing your own personal beliefs on them through the government.
Bob: So because they don't want to celebrate Jesus no one can?!
Warren: No, we just had this conversation, you can celebrate Christmas you just can't force others to it's in the constitution.
Bob: No it's not.
Warren: Yes it is.
Bob: No it's not.
Warren: Yes it- look, First Amendment, the government shall not establish-
Bob: Yes the First Amendment, the government can't tell me what to think!
Warren: Yes that's the point, the government can't tell you what to think, and in turn you as a member of the government can't tell others what to think.
Bob: ...This is about America!
Warren: Just stop.
Bob: My son died in war 15 years ago!
Warren: Yeah, about that what war were we fighting in 1997?
Bob: Our freedoms are being taken away every day!
Warren: What freedoms have been taken from you?
Bob: The president is black!

Awesome, JimmyG, love it.

well said.

If that's in the movie I'll change my vote to 10 stars!

I gave the movie a one without seeing it, because it won't let me give it zero stars.

To be fair, I plan on renting it at some point. We love to laugh at movies like this!

reply

That was fantastic! Thanks for the laughs

"Bob Patriotington"

Holy *beep* I'm still containing laughter. Well done.

Thanks for the laughs, well done!

So none of you have seen the movie, but because it has a Christian message, you are bad mouthing it, huh? Silly, close minded little people.

Now, get back to watching toddlers and tiaras. Shows like that are made for you ilk. Stop going on boards for movies you won't see or understand.

reply

It seems they WERE watching it. LOL

Honey Boo Boo, DNC in Ratings Tie

reply

Oh I'm not badmouthing it because it has a Christian message, as a matter of fact I don't even see a Christian message in the trailer. All I see is bad acting, bad cinematography, horrible sound, one dimensional caricatures, and a bunch of political tea party talking points strung together as a plot. I don't think I'm missing much, but I could be wrong, they could've just shown all the bad parts of the movie in the trailer. Even though that goes against everything a trailer is supposed to do I'll grant the possibility. But assuming that's not the case I have no problem mocking the parts of it I have seen in the trailer. Is that so close minded?

Maybe it is. I'll most likely never see the movie, granted. But even if I did see it, and even if I did understand it, that doesn't mean I would agree with it, and if that were the case I would stand by my original posting. So regardless of if I've seen it or not it doesn't mean I can't voice dissent against it. Fortunately the First Amendment is still alive and well on the internet, so people from all over the world with different viewpoints can come together and rip on bad movies, and really in the end isn't that what America's all about?

Tell you what, if we come back and they're all murdered, I owe you a coke.

reply

Christian message? Right. Christian as defined by republican politics and bigotry that excludes nearly the entire new testament or at the very least takes it completely out of context. Not to mention the act of sending unsolicited text messages under a fake email address in itself being a illegal act shows you the high morals of the company.

How may people badmouthed the Narnia movies (or books) for their Christian message and imagery?

I haven't seen this film but I have to admit it sounds like rubbish.

HAWHAWHAW... Bob Patrioting ... HAWHAWHAW!

Classic!

reply

Why don't you and the makes of this 'film' go back (and stay) reading and re-reading the Bible millions of times? Your message isn't winning anybody over except silly people like yourself who need home training in how to use the toilet.

reply

this is the funniest thread i've ever seen on imdb.

reply

JimmyG? This. Was. Awesome. Actually LOL'd. Nice work!

reply

Your buddies are stroking you and you're probably loving it, JimmyG; however, to quote Keith Richards... What a load of bloody mahesh.

reply

You'd think Keith Richards would be the last guy against being stroked. I don't particularly know these people, I'm glad they like my post, so yeah that is nice. I don't know why I shouldn't be happy that people like what I have to say and agree with me. You don't but okay, you don't have to. So to quote Mick Jagger... Thank you for leaving us alone but giving us enough attention to boost our egos.

Tell you what, if we come back and they're all murdered, I owe you a coke.
