Um, you're accusing "liberals" of crying and complaining and you're talking about a movie that is about Christians in AMERICA who have some sort of persecution complex about some boogey man who wants to cancel Christmas? Are you serious?
Shamusst, you appear to be the only one with any common sense who has posted about this movie. I just saw this movie and Yes, I am a proud American who loves this country and Yes, I loved it! No, it doesn't have any big name stars or Academy Award winning performances. It's not just about Christmas and it's not just about God and religion. It is about FREEDOM and having the freedom to stand up for what you believe. Many Americans do not even realize they are slowly but surely losing freedoms they have always taken for granted. Most will not know what freedoms they had until they are lost. Sadly, there is too much apathy and many just have no idea what is happening around them. Do your homework people, stop trusting everything you hear on the mainstream media. I could go on and on with that subject, but this is about a GOOD movie with a powerful message. It is a wake up call, don't be late!

Right, well being an obviously right wing movie, it should have taken into account that George W. Bush used 9/11 to impose on us the Patriot Act, warrant less wiretapping, illegal search and seizure and of course Gitmo, where people can be held indefinitely without due process and torture, a vilation of the Geneva convention. This is why Bush and Cheney can't leave the country.
Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to shred the Constitution. Obama tried to close Gitmo and was blocked by the republican Congress.
Was that part of our freedoms in the director's cut or something?
Liberals bug the ever loving hell out of me and I am a fundamentalist Christian... but I still am embarrassed that this film exists - sowing seeds of persecution-complex and "cry wolf" antics that are sadly the growing staple of the Christian community in this country.
Please don't go around peddling some kind of "if you don't like this movie you must hate baby Jesus" crap!

How sad it must be for you to be on the wrong side of history. How did you take the whole letting the blacks use the same drinking fountain thing? That must have been one huge cross to bear.

Don't fly planes into buildings in the name of your stupid religion. And don't pull down our flag from an embassy, install your flag, and kill our ambassadors.
