I think I missed something... (SPOILERS)

When did Dwight learn for certain that William was his half brother? I pay very close attention to movies, but I don't remember when this particular detail was revealed.

reply

Teddy Cleland told him after Dwight opened the trunk. Teddy had no reason to lie seeing as how he was in possession of the Ruger at the time of the revelation.

reply

NO, Dwight asks "Who was the kid in the limo ?" and Teddy answers "It's a kid. Just a kid"
At the end when he lets William go free Dwight says "He's the boy my father had with your mother". But it's NEVER said by anyone from the Cleland family. Just what Dwight concludes by himself.

reply

OKAY. Whatever you SAY.

reply

He's right, you know.

reply

Way to rub it in, Smarty.

reply

No one told him. But Teddy said that his dad couldn't have sex due to the cancer. This fact, coupled with William's age is his first clue.

Later, when Dwight is waiting at the Cleland house, he looks through their photo album and sees a picture of William as a child. That's when he totally gets it. The photo of William seem out of place due to the gap between his age and his siblings. At the end of the movie, we get a closeup of a picture of Dwight as a child. It's easy to infer that Dwight thought William and he looked similar as children.

reply

Yeah thats probably it.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

reply

Aha, the cancer thing, good spot Darryl!

No Guru, No Method, No Teacher.

reply

The other dad couldn't have sex because of the cancer, and I can only imagine that Dwight could see family similarities in the kid and his dad.
