sharegiven the shotgun speed of the movies compared to the manga/anime and how much they've cut out already.. I'm going to say no. They might take the same road as the anime and go from the prison escape right to griffith starting the eclipse, bypassing everything between. It's been a while since I've seen the anime, but I don't think that the princess was mentioned as being the one who helped the group break into the prison to bust out griffith in the anime. They might cut that out as well.

shareThat's a real shame because Wyald was Guts' first true demon slaughter victory. Sure Zodd finished the job but Wyald didn't have much in his tank at that point. He was overpowered by our hero. It felt like an important moment. Not for the story but for the character of Guts. It tests his limitations and it felt like a Black Swordsman battle.
I was really pissed when Guts left at the end of Golden Age II when he didn't give the Band of the Hawk any explanation on why he was leaving. Not a good one anyway. In the manga/anime series Judeau convinced him to be reasoned with at the bar. Guts gives us a very in-depth and detailed explanation. In the movie Guts just comes off like a b!tch who acts he never cared about his men.
