....yes I grew up with Big Bird. I was born in 1977. The trailer alone got me choked up and teary eyed. I watched it 3 times. That is what all filmmakers strive to do. Make someone feel something. Gee, I remember Elmo, the muppet character from Sesame Street guest starring on The Frugal Gourmet during the late 1980s early 1990s. It was common for PBS shows.
As people may or may not remember, the late Jeff Smith, host of The Frugal Gourmet, was also accused of being a sexual predator of young men.
I can just see in my mind's eye, Smith and Clash sitting around talking, um, shop and techniques after the show had wrapped.
Why do we always end up finding out about these disturbing things about things that were such a big part of our childhood we'd really rather not know?
