Maybe I'd just got used to the ponderous pacing and all the brown and, being about an "illicit" pregnancy and a cover-up in an influential family, the themes were really quite similar to the first episode. But, I'd go so far as to say I rather enjoyed it... What with the announcer talking about a DVD of "series one" coming out over the credits, I presume we'll be getting more.

I really liked Colin Morgan as the reporter Jimmy in this episode.

Me too. He was charming and borderline smarmy journo at the same time, not an easy feat as an actor.

Hope they do some of the rest of the novels, because he seems to appear in at least one later novel, so guess we'd get to see him again.
