Generic Procedural Snoozer

I watched episode #1. I had high hopes, having grown up in Ireland.

But frankly? Plus or minus, this is a 'procedural' that coulda been done in any number of places... just change the clothes and the accents.

Speaking of accents... I've read complaints about the accents. These are misguided. There are -many- accents in Dublin---many of which will sound more 'English' than 'Irish' to Americans, depending on education, class and Catholic v. CofI. Actually -Gabriel's- accent annoyed me more than anyone's... he's not evening -trying- to be a 'Dubliner'.

They do some things that are 'topical' and use washed out lighting, but in the end? It's all window-dressing. Very slow window-dressing... even for BBC.

PS: The music is so generic... it's like Muzak for BBC dramas.
