Will there be a second season of this or was it just a one-off series?

Haven't seen anything definitive, yet.

Not sure if the news story I saw was accurate, but it quoted Gabriel Byrne as saying he wouldn't do a second series. So...Quirke with no Quirke? That would be interesting...ha.

my favourite quirke novel was "vengeance".. i would love to see a second season!

Given the poor ratings and the poor reviews. I guess not.
