They was a few mentions of Raand, and if you blinked you would miss Foggy making an appearance. Surely they could have added a cameo from another defender.
Yes. There should have been something more connection the shows. But the writers seem to lazy to create overarching story elements. It is such a missed opportunity.

I’ve heard that JJ’s showrunner didn’t like having to wait a year so that they could have Defenders before doing season 2. I guess that explains why Jessica was the only character not to have any sort if change during that series.
