Why all the hate for the doctor.

Exactly what made him such a villain.She demonized him as if he was responsible for her families miserable fate.It was the accident that destroyed her family not him.If not for him Jessica and her mother would have both died.Would she have preferred to not have lived.If someone gave me a choice between death and life with some unwanted side effects i'm gonna pick life every time.She just comes off as really whiny and ungrateful given that this guy saved her life.

UPDATED:Just finished it and the whole season just felt disappointing and kind of pointless.There was no real villain here.The doctor that they tried to make seem like such an evil bad guy was just a scientist who wanted to save lives.And did save lives.And Jessica's mother wasn't so much evil as she was mentally disturbed due to the experiments done on her.The highlight was David Tennants cameo.Unfortunately it was only for one episode.

Doctor was the nicest goodie-two-shoes guy ever, LOL. He even married psycho powered Mom who could have squashed his face accidentally.

And even the Mum pointed this out. There's going to have to be some huge progress in season 3. I'm tired of Emo Jessica and self righteous Trish.

Yeah, the doctor wasn't some mad scientist type. He made a lot of bad choices but he wanted to help people. The weird part was, Jessica had a lot of sympathy for her mom despite the fact that she was killing anyone who could have exposed them, got in their way, or just made her mad. I actually don't blame Trish for killing her.
