Hollywood is to have its turn..will it be good or an attack on Assange?

Hollywood is to have its turn with Assange..will it be any good or an attack on Assange? My guess is THEY will use this opportunity to demonise Assange in some way

the australian film may have less money behind it, but at least looks like Assange, and no US imput. Not so Spielbergs

doesn't need to be demonized, he does that himself. when asked if he was concerned that his leaks without any filtering was going to threaten the lives of afgans or iraqis working with coalition forces, he said collaborators get what they deserve.

that is the moral emptiness of julian assange.

people wanted a hero, but this one falls far short of the mark.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John, 8:32) Or is it best hidden, when it is useful to be so? But then who decides when it really is useful to hide truth, and for whom is it useful? For the boys in Iraq and Afganistan? Indeed, it's dangerous for them over there. So the most logical remedy would be to go home, wouldn't it? Then no danger would threaten them, and the truth could be said openly without harming anyone. oh, but wait! It would still bring harm to some people, more exactly to the war profiteers, who seem to gain most from hiding the truth.

I hope the one directed by Bill Condon - is that the Hollywood version ? - will leave it to the audience to have their own opinion about Julian Assange, neither idealizing nor demonizing him.

I enjoyed watching this movie about Assange before wikileaks, produced by Australians. I haven't read any book about Assange, just learned about him at wiki and I still don't know what to think of him. Political and military intrigues are just too complicated issues to me.
